THE DARK TOWER Trailer

The DARK TOWER trailer. The DARK TOWER, based on the Stephen King novels, along with some pretty quotable moments brought to life — “I do not kill with my gun. I kill with my heart”, and very likely at the box office. The DARK TOWER stars Matthew McConaughey (Man in Black), Katheryn Winnick (Laurie Chambers), and Idris Elba (The Gunslinger). I’ve never finished reading the books, found the 1st book dead boring ages ago but I might need to re-think that based on this trailer. I’ll watch ANYTHING with Idris Elba & Matthew McConaughey. Did Marvel screw up NOT pushing harder to get Matthew McConaughey in their films? Looks like it.

Jake Chambers (Tom Taylor) is an 11-year-old adventure seeker who discovers clues about another dimension called Mid-World. Upon following the mystery, he is spirited away to Mid-World where he encounters a Gunslinger, Roland Deschain (Idris Elba), who is on a quest to reach the “Dark Tower” that resides in End-World and reach the nexus point between time and space that he hopes will save all existence from extinction. But with various monsters and a vicious sorcerer named Walter Padick (Matthew McConaughey) hot on their trail, the unlikely duo find that their quest may be difficult to complete.
