Everyone at Between the Staples wishes you a Happy New Year! Thanks to those who aren’t spambots for sticking around with us this year after a many year absence. We hope to have a great deal more to offer in the New Year. Be safe tonight, take care & kick ass next year. As everyone keeps saying, 2016 has been a shit & great year. Why great?! Look who we’ve lost. Yes, it’s very Sad.
That sucks but as Geeks, looks at what we got – Batman v Superman, Captain America: Civil War, Deadpool, Suicide Squad, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Kubo and Two Strings, Jungle Book, Zootopia, DR. STRANGE, Star Trek Beyond, Ghostbusters, Xmen: Apocalypse, Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them, The Secret Life of Pets, A CW TV Comicbook crossover to epic proportions (The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow), Marvel Netflix shows (Daredevil s2, Jessica Jones & Luke Cage) just to name a few. In comics we had an extended Marvel Civil War 2 series, Marvel’s Secret Wars ended which started a new Marvel comic universe without the Fantastic Four (STUPID decision), DC Rebirth has helped invigorate DC Comics & comics AGAIN. We got stunning Batman comics (mostly) with titles like All-Star Batman & Detective Comics. Supposedly there are some other good DC titles (taking the word of Arctic Grodd, Ian & Hartley).
We ALSO returned to the blogsphere world (whatever that is / means today). So yes, 2016 sucked for the creative & beautiful people we have lost but the year wasn’t all bad. Okay there are other political news that has made terrible waves in 2016 (we don’t talk that here) so yeah…
