Marvel released designs by Alex Maleev for the upcoming Infamous Iron Man. Here is Dr. Doom‘s new Iron Man-like new armoured look & feel. I love that they kept the Doom frown / growl facial look with that complete distain the new armour has. Which will be more appealing to the public? You decide!
All fun aside, Alex Maleev’s design concepts look wonderful. I can’t WAIT for the Invincible Iron Man series written by Brian Michael Bendis and artist Stefano Caselli to come out!!
An Original Avengers falls in Civil War II issue #3 which is heart pounding, dramatic, intense and well paced. Brian Bendis and the entire art & editorial team put together one hell of a comic book. Almost as good as issue #1. Almost. So kick back and enjoy my ramble about how much I enjoyed this comic book. Haters can just piss off! 😛

Was just talking “passion” for your inner geek. Well, I’m VERY passionate about Warner Bros. upcoming Suicide Squad movie coming out! Check out the wonderfully new Suicide Squad Extended Trailer. All the laughs, most of the bullets and none of the heroes you expect! Lots of good shots of Deadshot, Joker, Harley Quinn, Rick Flag, Amanda Waller, Boomerang, El Diablo, Katana & Killer Croc.

Leaked for Marvel solicitations have hit the interwebz. The upcoming Marvel NOW has tons of new titles coming this fall like Thanos, Foolkiller, Slapstick & more. Best news is Bullseye by Ed Brisson and Guillermo Sanna! Collect ’em all!
Just a few days after Marvel Comics announcing that 15 year old Riri Williams will be the next Invincible Iron Man we get news of another Bendis title starring Victor Von Doom (aka Dr. Doom all cleaned up) as INFAMOUS IRON MAN. I’m torn on this Marvel NOW news. I’m a HUGE Dr. Doom fan but I have this LOVE / HATE relationship with Brian Bendis and his writing and this already sounds more HATE than LOVE. I’m not certain Bendis can pull of the Dr. Doom I enjoy and add to it him being a villainous Iron Man, it’s already sounding kinda flat. WHY does Dr. Doom need to be Iron Man when he’s already DOOM?!

I’m not a fan of these prequel / prelude / preview movie tie-in comic books as they often have NOTHING to do with the actual movie itself. Rarely do they setup ANYTHING for the movie and I prefer to judge a movie on it’s own. No tie-ins. No offline Googling. NO Director commentary of what they meant. If it’s NOT explained well in the movie, your movie failed. Yes. I am looking at Zac Snyder & BvS:DoJ!
