Yeah we're thinking we're back! Between the Staples is back, baby!

It has been a Year with Between the Staples being back on the Interwebs (Happy Anniversary to US!). I think the John Wick snippet video below is applicable, don’t you?! You might notice that we’ve change the look of Between the Staples a bit? A spanky new logo, some new backgrounds and tidy up some colours. Big thanks to Ian Aspden, Chris Hunter, Talking Comics & Arctic Grodd for their contributions, support & belief. Most of the site may stay the same although I am tempting a whole new look in the near future.

I CANNOT wait for this movie to come out, one of my favorite Titan stories – Teen Titans: The Judas Contract looks awesome! THIS is my Titans team w a mix of Damien Robin & Blue Beetle. Oh man, I wish to the Forgotten Gawds that THIS was a comic out now vs the Titan books out now. Can’t wait to see Nightwing, Starfire, Raven, Changeling / Beast Boy w the others mentioned kick some series ass! Starring the voice acting of Christina Ricci, the late Miguel Ferrer (perhaps one of his last pieces of work?), Taissa Farmiga, and Jake T. Austin to name a few.

TWD returns to season 7 with episode 9 “Future” and includes lots of great moments like Rick meeting King Ezekiel & the Kingdom then everyone gearing up for war against Negan & his Saviors. PLUS a Spiky Walker to get all excited about! Are you hyped up? The Walking Dead returns to haunt us on February 12th, 2017!

This second half of this season is said to be less violent and less deaths which might be a VERY bad thing about a show in a zombie apocalypse! Will Rick & Crew be able to muster up enough of a fight against Negan, Lucille and all the Saviors?

Supposedly Michael Bay is leaving the Transformers franchise after this movie (YEAH RIGHT!). Check out the new TRANSFORMERS: The Last Knight Super Bowl 51 trailer. See if Sir Anthony Hopkins or Marky Mark (Mark Wahlberg) & the Funky bunch (Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Stanley Tucci & John Turturro) can help save this CGI chrome mess of a childhood love. I highly doubt it. It will suck but still bring in stupid amounts of money because humanity is dumb for chrome CGI & explosions! “Change is coming Danny. Become what you are meant to be!” Great line from the new Marvel’s Iron Fist official Trailer! Lots of Kung-Fu action, lots of great lines and the Iron Fist himself blooming into his own. I CANNOT wait for this new series to be on Netflix. Just. Cannot. Wait! Finn Jones does NOT look out of place as Danny Rand aka the Iron Fist. Jessica Henwick has a grace & beauty as Colleen Wing. I’m betting this series story bleeds directly into the Defenders series.

Check out Marvel’s Iron Fist on March 17th, 2017. All episodes streaming on Netflix.
