The Fate of the Furious – Official trailer

F***K YES!! Check it out! The new #TheFateOfTheFurious #Fast8 is out and boy it looks like a great big summer popcorn movie! Dominic Torretto’s (Vin Diesel) loyalty is tested when he joins forces with a new high tech villainess played by Charlize Theron. The bonds of the Fast & Furious family are heavily tested as the team goes against this new baddie & Dom!

For The Fate of the Furious, Vin Diesel is joined by a returning all-star cast that includes Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Elsa Pataky and Kurt Russell. In addition to Theron, the series welcomes newcomers Scott Eastwood and Oscar winner Helen Mirren. The film is directed by F. Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton) and produced by returning producers Neal H. Moritz, Michael Fottrell and Diesel.

The Fate of the Furious opens in theaters on April 14, 2017.

War for the Planet of the Apes Trailer

Check out the new War for the Planet of the Apes trailer is out & Caesar seems to be thrust back into being the object in this war for the planet (although given it’s just happening in the West unless movie dictates otherwise). I don’t think I’ll see Long Beach on Vancouver Island EVER the same (opening scene w Caesar & Co riding along the coast). Directed by Matt Reeves, War for the Planet of the Apes stars Andy Serkis, Woody Harrelson, Steve Zahn, Karin Konoval, Amiah Miller, and Terry Notary.

TRANSFORMERS 5: The Last Knight is yet another Transformers movie from Micheal Bay. This time it involves Knights, Two-headed Transformer dragons, evil Optimus Prime, massive swords, Bumblebee has lips, Marky Mark returns, Army guy returns, new young kid character for Bumblebee to protect & then… Unicron.

Gah. Whatever. I don’t even know if I care anymore what the plot is – I mean, will it even matter? I highly doubt it.

Marvel / FX’s Legion Season 1 New Trailer

Marvel & FX’s Legion trailer focuses on David Haller (Dan Stevens) and more plot development of what season 1 will be looking like vs just David Haller powers & mental instability. David Haller is a powerful telepathic mutant (Prof. X’s son – in the comic books) who had a dozen (or more) personalities that each have their own powers inside him. Looking forward to this short run series (8 episodes, I believe) upcoming from FX early next year.

Legion is set to premiere in February 8, 2017, and run for eight episodes over its first season.

CW’s INVASION – Supergirl, Flash, Arrow & Legends Crossover event – Our Review
