πππ! ππππ! ππππππ β Demonic Edition
On this episode of Pow! Wham! Comics – the popular web comic series Kill Six Billion Demons makes a jump from online to IRL as the first volume is being released by Image.
Over at Marvel, there’s a new arc for Moon Knight that showcases some great art from the likes of Francesco FrancavillaΒ and James StokoeΒ while DC is still rolling with the Rebirth debut of Cyborg along with the first issue for Supergirl.
Titles so hot that they must be made of brimstone as we present this week’s episode of Pow! Wham! Comics – Demonic Edition
This is SO OVER the top & VERY NOT SAFE FOR WORK!! Check out the TRANSformers animated short w some funny Optimus Prime. “Megatron was my slave name. I am Offenditron!” “Grimlock can’t even… Grimlock literally can’t even…”

Take a good look at this SHIT. Snapped from the pages of Red Hood & the Outlaws (DC Rebirth title) #1 is the newest version of the Black Mask for DC Rebirth. Visually, this is ONE of the most BORING, UNORIGINAL & POORLY DESIGNED look for one of Batman’s most sadistic villains. Black Mask now looks like some poor excuse or a perverted Mafia wannabe. More of my rant below…
Here are a handful of quick, great positive Twitter reviews of last weeks DC Rebirth titles by The Hartley Show! Enjoy! Aquaman vs Superman sounds… fun?! (No, no… fnck no. I’m NOT doing reviews on DC Rebirth titles. My DC Rebirth hate may burn down the Interwebz. These comic book covers are fncking bad enough!). More below…
Are you ready for more Vampires vs Werewolves?
Are you ready for the next installment of the Underworld franchise? Well… Underworld: Blood Wars is coming either near the end of this year or early the next. Seems like it’s a bit of a reboot sans Michael Corvin or Eve were it’s back to Vampire vs Werewolf vs Vampire and, of course, with Selene (Kate Beckinsale) dead centre amongst the conflict. Great to see Charles Dance in the movie. Love loads of English / UK actors who are key Vampires, Werewolves or Hunters (Bill Nighy, Michael Sheen, Tony Curran, Derek Jacobi, Rhona Mitra, Shane Brolly, Stephen Rea, Steven Mackintosh, Theo James & Charles Dance). More details below from the official YouTube page…

This week on Pow! Wham! Comics, we’ve got some special guests as I ventured out from my humble home for an evening recording held at Metropolis Comics located just across the street from Metrotown in the heart of Burnaby, BC.
Joining my usually solo rants are my good friends, Tony Albrecht and Adam McDougs. We’ll be discussing the upcoming Revolution IDW crossover, some annuals from DC such as Gotham Academy & Bombshells, a “live” reading of Judge Dredd vs Alien/Predator and finally a Civil War 2 tie-in issue that was pretty fun starring Gwenpool!
If you enjoy the opinions of the T. Albrecht, be sure to check out Good Morning Toy WorldΒ for nostalgia waxing for toys or if you’re into more spooky things, Guttural FrequencyΒ
Alas, Adam has nothing to show except for podcast bombing so perhaps, we’ll get another trio session in the future but for now, enjoy the ramblings on this week’s episode of Pow! Wham! Comics – Metro Edition.
