Voltron: Legendary Defender trailer

So here’s the new trailer for the upcoming Voltron: Legendary Defender from Dreamworks & Netflix. I wasn’t a big Voltron fan so yeah, I’m not entirely jazzed up on this but I know there’s a rabid fandom out there for the show. I’m happy to see that it’s executive produced by Joaquim Dos Santos of Legend of Korra and Avatar fame. Enjoy & catch the show on June 10th on Netflix.

The Flash | Invincible Trailer

So I’ve caught up on The Flash CW TV show and I was VERY impressed by Kevin Smith‘s episode this week with Barry caught up in the Speed Force & dealing with the death of his mother. Kudos Kevin Smith but the fun doesn’t seem to end there, the episode ended with ZOOM gearing up to blow his villainy load all over Central City with a ton of bad guys. Here’s the scene for next weeks all out attack also starring Earth-2 Laurel Lance as Black Siren. Check it out & enjoy 🙂

I’m working hard to put up more comic book specific articles and posts rather than just trailers and movie news (although I like those as well). Okay so this week, one comic book jumped out and went for my jugular with it’s grit & noir storytelling by the brilliant Ed Brisson, Adam Gorham & Michael Garland – The Violent #4 from Image Comics.

Check out the Final TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: Out of the Shadows trailer! In this final trailer (you know, besides the hundreds of TV spots), Michelangelo (Noel Fisher) does a breakdown of his brothers, just in case you’ve been living under a rock for the past 20 years or so. The cast is bigger in this movie: April O’Neil (Megan Fox), Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett), and Splinter (Danny Woodburn / Tony Shalhoub) from the last film, the sequel also introduces Casey Jones (Stephen Amell), Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry), Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams), Rocksteady (Stephen “Sheamus” Farrelly), and Krang (Fred Armisen) along with the turtles themselves: Johnny Knoxville as Leonardo, Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Noel Fisher as Michelangelo, Jeremy Howard as Donatello.

April 2016 Comic book Reviews – Part 1

Alright, I know it’s been a while from any new comic book related posts so here it is, I’ve spent a while catching up on all comics for April 2016 and here they are. Doomsday & Superman Art by Ray Dillon

It’s been a few weeks and DC Comics or Time Warner still haven’t made ANY comments on the news about Sexual Harassment. Rather, more news has been new allegations against a senior art director at DC Comics. It’s crazy, upsetting and frustrating.
